Cause I was asked, here is a picture of the inside of the fan slot of the Acer Aspire One 721
Update3: 20.08. 17:30 Borderlinx has finally shipped the iPhones. Of cause, I can´t track it yet with DHL, grrr.
Update2: 20.08. 10:23 Borderlinx has still not shipped both my iPhones. Grrrrr.
Update: Still no shipping. Gary. Again I am very disappointed. Can you actually be that slow?
Finally my second iPhone 4 got scanned by Borderlinx UK. Good job Gary.
My second Apple iPhone 4 has already reached Borderlinx UK aka Gary. Gary is really a nice person that hopefully takes good care of my second iPhone. But today Gary is a little bit slow. On Monday Gary needed only 5 hours to get my iPhone into the Borderlinx system and ready to ship. But today…Gary Gary…9 hours and counting.
LoL. I just finished the Borderlinx post and 2 minutes later I got an email, saying that they have my iPhone, and that they can send it, if I want.
But I am gonna wait until the second one arrives as well. Boy, am I hitting myself right now, for not purchasing both iPhones together at the same time.
Yes, my new iPhone 4 is on it´s way. I have ordered it on July 26th, shipping was scheduled for August 16th, but Apple send it on the 13th. Today it should reach Borderlinx.uk in Milton Keynes. But I won´t order it to been shipped to Germany right away, I will wait a couple of days, because I´ve ordered another iPhone a few days later. It´s hard, but I don´t want to pay 35,- € twice for shipping.
After a long time of using Navigon Europe Edition for free, don´t ask why and how, my never updated 1.0 Version stopped working with iOS4. So, after month and month of free and uncomplicated navigation, I was back at Google Maps, following the little blue dot hoping to hit the blue line.
I really hate Android people with their free Google Navigation….grrrr.
But that is history. Navigon just cut the price by 50% for all their apps and even their in app sales, so I went for it. € 44,95 and I bought my legal copy of Navigon Europe. Now the 1.83 GB app is loading.
I guess today is the last day of this nice sale. I waited until the last moment, thinking if I really need it.
after a long long time without a windows Netbook / Subnotebook / Notebook I am getting a new one. Ok, it is not for me, but I will get it first, play with it, set it up and test it a little bit.
My choice it the Acer Aspire 721. 10 Inch is definitely too small. So I went for 11.6 inch. It´s the same size as my old Samsung N150 but with a HD display, 1366×768 resolution. It comes with a AMD K125 + Ati 4225 combo, which should have more power than the old Intel Atom N270 + Nvidia ION bundle. HDMI out in 1080p should be possible. Windows 7 64bit Premium and 250HDD rounds it up. Only downside is the battery time of 3-5 hours.
Price was 375,- € incl. shipping. Not too bad I think.
I can´t find any videos about the 721, just 2 short unboxing vids from ndevil and bradlinder:
